Iran and Taiwan

Dear diary:
I am Mehrshad. I want to share some interesting story to you in Taiwan. First week, my new friend, Shie Min Yu, took me went back to his home. Saturday, we got up early and had a delicious breakfast. After eating breakfast, I told him I wanted to play in the yard. And I saw a lot of fishes playing in the pound . There are many colors of fish such as yellow, red and black. And I saw a very beautiful rose. In the afternoon, we played table tennis. It was very happy. When we got home, his mother prepared good dinner for us. Today was a good day. Sunday, Shie Min Yu would like to introduce new friends to me. Wow! How cute the rabbits are. One is brown, the other is black. I was so happy to play with them. But I found a strange thing. They prefect not carrot, but toast. After taking a rest, we went to Liji Bad Land. Shie Min Yu told me how Bad Land formed. It has been eroded by rain over a long time. And the trees and grasses can hardly grow. It’s so good view.

Harika and Dragon Boat Festival

Hello,I am Harika.I arrive in Taitung NTSH,and today is Dragon Boat Festival.Everyone doesn't need to go to school or work.So 賈,the one of the classmates in 105,took me home and had a good time with him.He seems very tired because he didn't wake up until 10a.m.Then he and me had breaklunch together.We had rice dumpling.It is made of glutinous rice,mushrooms,peanuts,pork and yolks.It is so delicious that I ate three!And then we tried to let eggs erect at 12:00.It was very incredible that we did!It was coolest that I had never did!Today is a happy and special day!I hope I can do it again!Bye~

Mei-hua's NTSH Trip

Hellow,I am Mei-hua.Classmates in 105 had several activites this wednesday.So 翔 and 轉 let me join them to have fun.


In the morning,轉 fed me the famous breakfast in Taitung Senior High School,貢蛋飯.
It's very delicious and tasty.All the NTSH people are fascinated by it.








And many break,I played baseball with classmates in 105.They like to play baseball very much,and most of them are good at playing.They really crazy about baseball.











In the noon,we played water gun.We were all get wet.












Afternoon,wejoined the 東中盃 in the center.Many singers and bands sang many popular songs at that time.Our friend,金剛Band,also sang a Metal song,no more sorrow.All the students in the center were very happy and excited.







Before the school,we had the first swimming clss in this semester.PE class teacher let us play water soccer in the swimming pool.But we didn't use foot,we use hand.Finally,the Odd-numbered team won the ball game.But we played too happy to take picture.：ｐ


It was a special day in NTSH.I was happy to play with class105 this Wednesday.What a happy and tire day.I want to go bed.BYE!!

Mei-hua in the art class

Today I practiced painting with ink & brush with my 105 buddies in the art classroom. It was hard to paint perfectly, but there were many interesting things happening during the process. For example, some of my classmates didn't have talents for art, so their works were quite funny. I found some chicken painted by my classmates looked like a pig. However, there were still some outstanding works. Some of my classmates even did as well as my teacher did. Before the school's bell rang, we had to finish it and named for our works. I named mine as "chickens eating rice" and my best friend 黃俊翔 named his work as "flying chickens." We also pained on others' arms, and made it like a kind of weird tatoo. It was very funny, isn't it?

Wheaty & cute 小蝦米

小蝦米 is a very cute girl I met in National Taitung Senior High. Her real name is 謝毓庭, but all of us call her 小蝦米. It must be very strange to see such a "young" lady show up in a boy's school. Actually, she is the daughter of my new earth science teacher, Ms. 翁翎雁. She would show her friendliness by lying her head on my belly or give me a super warm hug. I am so happy to befriend with her!!

Wheaty's Fourth Journal (番外篇)

(April 19th)

It was a rainy day. It was the first time I saw it rained so heavily in Taitung. Actually, I once thought it was always sunny here!!
This morning, I went to another class taught by my new English teacher, Sam. It is Class 311, a PE-talented class. All of them are the third graders--that means they are going to graduate this summer. It is a very small class because there are only sixteen students, including students with specialties in basketball(籃球), track & field(田徑), canoe(輕艇), and boxing(拳擊).Girls in this class are very famous because they always won the champion. Wheaty's Third Journal

(April 18th)

It was a wonderful Sunday and the weather was very nice in Taitung. In the morning, I went to a beautiful place with my three knights again (I am Princess Wheaty!! I went everywhere with "at least" three knights to protect me!!). The place we went to today is called "Black forest" (黑森林). I don’t know why this place was once called that way. Although people in Taitung now will call it 海濱公園, we found the name "Black forest" is more interesting. It was very quiet and peaceful there. The comfortable breeze blew around me and made me feel like in the heaven. Finally we arrived at the destination─a beautiful lake. The water in the lake was very clear and I even saw some fish swimming in the lake. After taking some photos by the lake, we left and went to have a delicious lunch. What a wonderful weekend in Taitung, and I hope my sisters in Class Win could be here and join us one day.

Wheaty Second Journal

(April 17th)
Because it was sunny today, I thought it was a good chance to do outdoor activities. So, I went out with three handsome boys to see how beautiful the sea of Taitung was. On the way to the sea, I sat in the basket in front of the bicycles. It was a comfortable seat, and the wind touched my face smoothly. Finally, we arrived at the beach. Wow!I had never seen such a beautiful sea before because I used to live in the big city. The gray sands, the big black stones on the beach, the deep blue sea, and the small ship far away formed an amazing view. We all stood on the beach for a long time to see the view. How luxurious it is to just stay here, doing nothing. After that, we took a walk around here to feel the smell of the sea. However,time flied and it was time to go home. At last, I thanked them, my three knights, who protected me all the way, very much for giving me a nice day.

He is 智倚, and he has an attractive smile. BTW, he is an aborigine. Therefore, for me, he is my aboriginal knight.

He is 孟翰, but his friends called him 大卓. He is very kind and I always sat beside him because sitting beside him made me feel protected. He is my royal knight. (He likes to put "royal" before everything he likes.)


Before we left the beach, my three knights wrote down my name on the beach. How romantic they were!

Wheaty's first journal

(April 16th)
This was the first day I kept my diary in NTSH. Teachers are kind and genial here, so don’t worry about me! Aha~~! I want to introduce you a female military instructor(教官), who is well-known in NTSH: 高佩宜. My new friends in Class 105 told me the military instructor is so cute and mellow that every students very like her. Look at this photo……

By the way, today, there was a “Jeans Dancing Party” in our Home Enconomics class (家政課). My new friends in 105 wore their own jeans and then had a funny fashion show.

It was amusing really. After the party, the teacher decided to let us make cookies next time. It will be another interesting class, I think.

This is the way we say goodbye and say hello

(April 9th)
It was a big day because we were going to say goodbye to our Momo. The first stop Momo was going to was Kaohsiung Vocational Technical High School. Before she left, we prepared her a diary and some snacks as gifts. We also reminded her that she had to bring her passport with her. She looked a little anxious because she had to take the trip alone. In order to ease her anxiety, we took a picture together outside our classroom. We told her that she could came here to take a look whenever she missed us. Finally, all of us waved her goodbye with our smile and best wishes.

(April 14th)
What a surprise our first guest, Wheaty, arrived on such a special day!
We had been very busy since last week because we were going to have a singing contest this afternoon. The song we were going to perform was "Taiwan, I Love You." We practiced it so hard, wishing we could win a big prize today.
Unexpectedly, Wheaty (super cute name), the ambassador from Class Win in TFG, showed up when we were eating our lunch. She wore the green uniform of TFG and looked friendly. We loved her at the first sight!!
Our English teacher asked us to take her to the singing contest to join us. We don't know if it was the luck Wheaty brought us or not--we won three major prizes in the contest: the best performance chosen by the audience (最佳人氣獎),the most angelic vocal performance (天籟歌聲獎),and most important of all, the champion (總冠軍). We were so thrilled with these honors and couldn't believe that we did make it.
Our homeroom teacher, Ms. Hsu, was also very happy. She promised that we could have a party tomorrow. BTW, we could treat our new friend with our favorite, the pizza.
It was such an honorable day for all in class 105, and we were so happy to have Wheaty with us!

(April 15th)
Finally, it's party time!!
Last time we have so many pizza was on Dec. 31, 2009. We had a Christmas party because we had a great time exchanging holiday cards with many foreign friends.

Now, we were having pizza again because we did a great job in the singing contest. Our homeroom teacher said she almost cried when she heard us singing our sincere love to Taiwan. We feel it was great to eat pizza after we really did something great, and we loved our homeroom teacher very much because she was such a great teacher that she was always with us in the most significant moments.

See Wheaty is one of us now. She also had a piece of pizza and a drink. (The one beside Wheaty was the cutiest in our class--賈勛淮. We think he is as cute as Wheaty!!)

A Trip with Lots of Fun and Friendship

Dear all in 105,

Now, we are going to start a new project--"Teddy Bear Project." Just like "Holiday Card Exchange Project," which we've got sooooo much fun in last semester, this brand new project will also be extremely interesting because there are three more partner schools going to join us. They are friends from Taipei First Girls High School (北一女中)，Kaohsiung Vocational Technical High School (高雄高工), and Kaohsiung Vocational Commercial High School (高雄高商). We will send our ambassador--a teddy bear representing your class--to these partner schools. Likewise, we will have to guest the ambassadors from other schools. When they arrive in Taitung, maybe you guys can guide them around Taitung, make them a part of your school life, or even take them home to learn to be a good host. But, most important of all, I want you all to help our guests keep track of their happy days in Taitung. I will divide you all into groups, and make you take turns writing down journals either on your ambassador's diary or on this blog. This is a project we are going to do for the whole semester. Therefore, I wish you all could have a great time, make lots of progress in using English, and, by the way, earn a lot of wonderful friendship when interacting with your classmates from other schools.
Now, let's get prepared and start the journey!!
